Bertone makes its mark in the Middle East

Bertone, the legendary Italian automotive brand, continues its global expansion with its official entry into the Middle East. Following the world premiere of the GB110 hypercar in Monaco in June 2024, Bertone is now bringing its groundbreaking creation to the UAE for the first time. As part of this historic introduction, the GB110 will be showcased at exclusive events, including its official regional debut at the Dubai International Boat Show 2025, taking place from February 19 – 23 at Dubai Harbour.

Founded by Giovanni Bertone in 1912, Bertone has been at the forefront of automotive design and engineering for over a century. As one of Italy’s most influential design houses and coachbuilders, the brand has shaped the automotive industry through groundbreaking collaborations with legendary manufacturers.

Renowned for its elegance, innovation, and technical mastery, Bertone has created some of the most iconic vehicles in history, blending artistry with high-performance engineering. Today, the brand continues to push the boundaries of luxury automotive excellence and produces vehicles in strictly limited series – 20 to 40 units per model, ensuring each car to be a rare collectible masterpiece.

Maestri of car design: the visionaries behind Bertone

Nuccio Bertone was a visionary who led Bertone into global prominence. Under his leadership, Bertone produced iconic cars like the Lamborghini Miura, Lancia Stratos, and Alfa Romeo BAT Series, setting new standards for design and performance. Bertone’s legacy is deeply tied to some of the most legendary automotive designers, whose visionary work defined entire eras of car design:

• Marcello Gandini – the mastermind behind the Lamborghini Miura, Countach, and Lancia Stratos, Gandini revolutionized automotive aesthetics with sharp, aggressive lines and futuristic proportions.
• Giorgetto Giugiaro – before founding Italdesign, Giugiaro contributed to Bertone’s success with designs like the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT, setting new standards for automotive styling.
• Franco Scaglione – known for his innovative aerodynamic concepts, Scaglione played a key role in shaping Bertone’s early avant-garde designs.

Expanding the Bertone portfolio – first Megayacht
